Basically I been using a white noise machine for at least 6 months and everytime I use it I always gone to sleep before it stops, it is on a timer for 30 minutes. I been using it this week but I am wake when the machine turns on.

Go to bed and get up at the same times every day.
Turn off all electronics an hour before you go to bed.
Do something relaxing like read a book.
I like to eat something about an hour before I sleep but maybe that's just me.
Make your room as dark as possible.
