I am confused about the change with a levels. I have just started AS level and I know that its no longer counts towards you A level it is separate. So if you do say Maths C1,C2 AND S1 this year for AS will you have to repeat those exams next year for A2?

You need to confirm this with your teachers.

Maths doesn't change until 2017 so C1,C2,S1 will still count for 50% of final A Level

No, maths is still using the old system so your A-level grade will be the average of AS and A2.

No, maths isn't changing until 2017 and for the reformed subjects you will sit as exams as usual and get an as grade but as you said it won't count for the whole a level. The exams at the end of upper sixth will likely incorporate content from as but you won't have to re-sit any exams or anything like that.
