No. But what Chantalc said in that case. Yes. And that happens when you start chatting and socializing. You honestly can't do everything alone. And if you can definitely not as well and definitely not as fulfilled, I'd say. But day to day, no.

Yep friends are necessary. You can talk to them about stuff that you can't tell your family and they're people who help you make memories.

    Friends are awesome

if you have no problem being alone then no, but i think everyone gets lonely at times (theres a difference) and friends are needed or you'll go mad

It depends. If you enjoy your own company then no, but if when you're on your own you feel lonely then that's you depending on others to be happy, and wanting people around you.

No, but they are nice to have if you have real ones. I find it very hard to trust people or believe that they'd want to be friends with me.

Necessary for some people, but not for everyone. There are some independent people out there who are truly comfortable being alone and don't need to have friends. But at the same time, there are many people who struggle very badly if they have no friends (or not enough friends).

They are not necessary as in you can do very well without them.
It's always nice having someone to share thoughts with though.

I think friends are necessary. They don't have to be the same age as you, or even go to your school. They could even be a friend you met online. Either way, you're only human and sometimes you need to talk to someone. Whether it's needing advice or just discussing your thoughts a friend is a great help. Anyone could be your friend, it could be the librarian, a teacher, a peer. You may think you have everything under control, but we're human ahaha we need to interact with people xD
