I don't have any clashes, thankfully, but I know people who have 4 exams on one day.

I have English Literature and Economics clashing. My friend has two papers for History which clash with maths. I think that's worse than mine cos the subjects are so different. Don't know anyone with three separate subjects that clash though :s-smilie:

Mine isn't for A level but for GCSE

12th june - PM

RS - 1 3/4 hours
German Reading - 40 mins
German Writing - 50 mins

Sigh!
On the 6th June i have 2 history papers and 1 health and social retake - all PM and all edexcel. You'd think they would map out their exams a little better. Also the exams are on the 6/6 and there are three of them - the devil number; i may as well quit while the goings good lol.

One of my friends has 5 exams all on one day, most of which are essay writing ones. :s-smilie:
The French/Politics/Statistics 1 - 7h30 day clash  (Jun 5)

My S1 has been moved to the day after, but I have 2 hours of History on that day too :s-smilie:

can i ask how do people balance revision for a day when they have 2 different subject exams.

Also isnt a clash when you 2 exams which are at the same time and hence you cant do one and thus you have to stay with a teacher?

No clashes but:

Chem mod 1 - 1 hour
Chem mod 2 - 1 hour
Chem mod 3 - 1 hour

then...

History British paper - 45 mins
History German paper - 45 mins
History Document paper - 1h 20 mins

All on one day

Yep all those AS ones clashed last year - its the same this year for A2 except they've added Maths to the mix - i suppose i should be glad that i dont do Spanish and just have to deal with Maths, History and Chemistry

I'm surprised that maths clashes, the exam boards tend to put exams on the same day for subjects they think people are unlikely to combine, such as Chemistry and Psychology exams have clashed Jan year 12 and 13 cause most poeple don't take them together

maths is in the morning, chemistry is in the afternoon

history is also in the morning and i have a feeling that spanish is in the morning too

i feel sorry for anyone who does take those subjects, cause it'd probably go over the 6 hour exam limit which usually means they have to be supervised overnight (well if i understand the rules right)

my maths, history and chem is just under the 6 hour limit - so it looks like ill have to change from a maths exam straight onto a chemistry paper in the afternoon (having got over 3 hours of mad essay writing in the morning) - i suppose i should be glad its the most "mathsy" of the A2 chemistry modules that clashes

My worst day is June 14th - I have a medical physics module, a module 4 physics resit, and a German literature module. So I have to go into isolation. :frown:

How about everyone else?

I got the same as you, almost, but replace the German lit with a Business unit 4 paper and I'm doing Cosmology. And I have a maths exam in the afternoon.

thats 6hours of exams on that day!

Yes, they clashed last year too. Some people in the year below me (doing AS exams) have Economics, Chinese and Physics all on a Friday, so they have to stay in isolation overnight which can't be much fun.
