Hi Everyone I Was Wondering If I Could Get Some Help,

June 2015 I Completed My 2 Years At 6th Form and Was Studying Health & Social Care Level 3 & Applied Science Level 3 (BTEC). For Health I Got D*/D* & For Science I Got A Pass This Was Because I Had To Finish 6th Form Early As I Went To Tanzania For A Pre-Midwifery Experience With Gap Medics So I Never Got The Chance To Push My Science Grade up To A Merit. I Was Wondering If University's Would Accept These Requirements Because Of The Different Experiences I Have To Do With Midwifery?.

If They Don't What Other Courses Could I Do To Be Able To Get Into University, As I Still Need To Get My GCSE Maths Done As I Never Passed. I Was Thinking Of Doing A Access To Midwifery Course But Don't Turn 19 Till March.

    Thank You, Future Midwife

I would email the universities that you are looking to apply to, the admission tutors are normally very helpful. Make sure you check before applying as many universities will just look at academics and not consider the rest of the application initially to cut numbers due to how competitive midwifery is.
