No. It means you have an interview. Depending on how you perform at the interview will influence whether you get an offer or not.

    Good luck!

    Ahh cheers.
Will you know if you get an offer then and there or do you have to wait a few weeks?

Who knows. When I did my interview rounds, some "interviews" were actually just open days in disguise. I had one formal interview at York that resulted in an offer a little while later and Salford gave me a conditional offer straight into my hot little hand. Most other universities wrote to me with their offer a short while after applying. No idea what the process is these days but nothing will come until after the interview.

    Ahh sure, thank you.
Just really nervous and had to make sure.

    Any advice?

Hey there, I'm one of the MMaths students at UoM. From what I've seen from past years if you have an interview you have a very good chance of receiving an offer. Just remember to show interest in the subject and don't do anything silly during the interview itself. Manchester's interviews are often a small part of an induction tour as others have said so don't worry much about the day and be sure to enjoy yourself.

If you have any burning questions you can always contact me on here (though I may not be on too often),
