Hello, i understand how to do interpolation but i have a question where the median is in an awkward class. I'll attach a photo so you know what i mean. For this question, the median is in the class 3.0-3.5. I know the upper bound would be 4.0 but what would the lower bound be? Especially since the class before finishes at 3.0 aswell...
    Thanks

Since the upper bound of one group matches the lower bound of the next group, then those are the class boundaries..

If the median is in the 3.0 to 3.5 group, then the bounds are 3.0 and 3.5.

Puzzled as to why you said the upper bound was 4.0.
