REALLY need help with portfolio (architecture)

Ive done IGCSE Art but school doesnt offer A-level art so my A-level right now is Maths, biology, physics. i dropped chemistry after As. So, to whatever university im going to apply to im guessing they'll request a portfolio from me as they need to see my artsy side. Question is, do I send the portfolio i already made to the university that i applied too after ive done UCAS. Or will the university contact me and ask for specific piece for example 5-6 pieces of etc...

If i need to send the already-made portfolio, any advice on what to include or example?

-Edinbrugh
-UCL
-Kent
-Manchester
-Livepool
-Northumbria
-Newcastle
- and maybe cardiff/sheffield but prolly not
