    Hi,

I am currently doing AS in all three sciences and maths. I was wondering if it would be a good option to retake some subject exams for GCSE, I.e. I am thinking of repeating Chemistry, Biology and Statistics . I want to apply for medicine, so would it put me a disadvantage?

    Thanks...please be honest.

No point, they wouldn't be interested in Y12 re-sits.

    What grades did you get?

It'd probably be much better to focus on getting brilliant A-Level grades than worrying about GCSE grades.
Saying that, if you don't meet the entry requirements, then obviously you should

The reason why I want to repeat just those three subjects is because it will widen my university choices. So I think it would be a good idea to improve the previous grades.

I do understand it would be better to focus in getting good A-Levels, but in the end you should have more university choices - you never know what could happen with the A-levels.
