Hi i achieved AAAB for my AS grades. I dropped the subject which i got a B in. For history i achieved 160 UMS so directly on the boundary. I achieved 179 and 178 for English and Sociology. I am worried that Exeter won't let me in if i slip under into the B grade boundary for A-level. So is it worth putting Exeter as my first choice and Southampton as my insurance. I am predicted A*'s in sociology and english lit but i am concerned about underperforming in history. What should i do? And which uni is better overall for history? Thank you everyone

Have you actually had offers from them yet? If so, what were they?

You need to look at the course content and decide which course you prefer - they won't be the same.
