Group of about 10 from my Sixth Form met up and she was the only girl there. No 2 people in the group are closer than another pair, more acquaintance like.

At the end of the meet up, as everyone was saying bye, she merely shook everyone's hand but when she said bye to me she just leapt out enthusiastically and gave me a big hug

Considering none of the group are very close or anything, including me and her, what are your perspectives on this? Probably overthinking it perhaps...

You're overthinking it. It was a hug, not a marriage proposal.
