# question watch

1. sorry for bombarding you all with these maths questions. there's a question that involves u finding the volume of a frustrum but it doesn't give me the full cone in order to do that subtraction method and blah.
my method:
so i drew a little cone on top of the frustrum to see a full cone. and i did 6/4=1.5 and did 5/1.5 to give me 3.3333 as the height of the small cone that i drew myself. then i found the volume of the full cone so i did 1/3 x pi x 36 x 8.33: this gave me 314.0336..... and then found the volume of the small cone giving me 55.79468..... then i subtracted the two and got 228.2389?

correct or nah?

2. 314 minus 55 odd should be near 259
Also, I got 55.85 not 55.79; make sure your typing in on your calculator (10/3) and not just 3.33 because 3.33 isn't the same as 10/3
