Psychology at Coventry 2016

So basically I dropped out of university a week ago after a month due to really disliking the course, the campus and the general area. I had rushed into choosing the course and it just really didn't suit me.

I am planning on reapplying for 2016 for a different course at a different university and I am very interested in Psychology. I was looking at Psychology before I applied to uni last year so I'm not sure why I didn't stick with it but oh well, it's happened now...
Please can any Psychology students at Coventry tell me how they are finding the course and can any Coventry students tell me how they are enjoying the university in general? Is it better/worse than you thought it would be? Is the local area nice?

I got ABC at A level and an A in my EPQ. The B was in Human Biology which is related to Psychology. I didn't do Psychology at A level but I'm definitely interested in it and you don't need to have the A level in it to do the degree. As the entry requirements for Coventry are ABB, do you think I have a good chance at getting offered a place?

Thanks in advance  I'm also looking at Reading and Leicester if I do end up choosing Psychology as a course.

I am currently a 2nd year psychology student at Coventry uni. I thoroughly enjoy my course, the lecturers are really helpful and willing o go over things with you if you don't understand it. We have a compulsory placement module in 2nd year which is good as it helps with getting a job at the end of the course. We can also choose one of the module that we do each year. It could be anything from volunteering to French. We have also got other support networks in uni.

Thank you for replying! That's really good to hear - I think the course structure looks really good too, especially with the placement
Please could you explain about choosing the modules? I saw on the course description on the website that in the third year you choose which modules of Psychology you'd like to specialise in (e.g. forensic and health), but I don't understand what you mean about volunteering and French being optional modules. Sorry if I sound stupid haha. Would we be able to choose a Psychology module instead?
Also, how do you like the uni in general? Thanks!
