Can somebody with all F-grades at GCSE get into ANY college?

Im not asking on my behalf or a friend, its for my Stastistics coursework interpretation (honest!).

A quick google got me nowhere as colleges dont tend to share minimum grades like a university would.

Are there are colleges or schools which would accept a student with straight Fs at GCSE? and if so what about Gs or Us?

Thanks,
Mike

edit: Cant edit title, I didnt mean to put emphasis on "ANY" - now it looks like i mean "any" as in "every" rather than "any at all even if its the worst college ever"... if that makes sense.

Night school would...
I assume there are some that would let people re-sit or something? If you are re-sitting you still get EMA, but would you class this as 'further' education if it's just a repeat of the previous year?
You could probably do a GNVQ and GCSE resits with those grades at comprehensive sixth forms, sixth form colleges and FE colleges, but not A-levels or any other advanced course.

Maybe vocational courses, but probably still on the condition that the person retook Maths and English GCSEs.

i think u could get onto a retake course at a college if you showed u had potential and really watned to work harder, especially if u had special circumstances like illness or u could prove that you'd learnt from your mistakes (like if you had good ks2/ks3 results but then couldn't be bothered to learn for a couple of years or something).

i think most college retake courses are for students with Ds/Es though, and they'd probably only let you take maths&english gcse and then another gcse and an gnvq or something

it's true what abrp said about MPW, I knew someone who failed most of her IGCSEs yet got in. i'm not sure whether it was because her family was insanely rich or whether that's just the way MPW works.

My old school's 6th form had a general rule that you needed about four C - A* GCSEs but they've been known to let people in with none at all (to take Maths and English GCSE and BTEC courses I assume).

its because MPW is a resit college for stupid/lazy people with very rich parents who are worked like dogs till like 6pm each
day.
I guess you could get in if you were doing a lower scale vocational course; say a Cache certificate in childcare or, as said already, GCSE re-sits.

ours takes in those sorts of grade to do GNVQ. However whilst doing GNVQ you can take some AS's at our college..... so yes yes they do.

I've been given an unconditional to do A levels at the college. But that is only because I had high predictions and the women who interviewed me said it would be stupid to give me a conditional. She technically, if I get all U, they still have to let me in

yes, they just wouldn't be able to do the A levels they want. they will have to re-take GCSE's or do btec courses
my sister's highest grade was a D, the rest were E's and F's and she got no where.

There probably wouldn't be much point in going to college if you'd got all F grades, it would indicate the academic path really isn't your cup of tea and you should try something else.

I done my GCSES in 1988 when they first came out. I think they were harder then. I got six Fs a G grade and a E. Even sum people had get teachers to remark the papers as they were marked wrong. I am going back to do GCSES in September
