I am an EU student and have lived in the UK for 6 years in which I completed my GCSE's. I went to Canada over 3 years ago and finished grade 11 and 12 there, the equivalent of year 12 and 13. I completed grade 12 with a High school Diploma from Alberta - averaging 80.5% across 5 classes. I tried to find out how my qualifications stand up to the A levels that I would have taken here but the information I have found seems unreliable and conflicting.
So my questions are as follows:
What are the UK equivalent qualifications to those that I have from Canada?
Would I be able to get into the higher ranked universities for economics with the grades I have? And if so, which ones? (I was thinking of University of Birmingham since that is where I live at the moment.
