I've already sent off my UCAS application, but I've decided to do Additional Further Maths to full A-level, but on UCAS form I said only to AS, since I wasn't sure if I'd finish it or not.

If I get offers and they don't specify subjects for some grades, would I be able to include AFM in meeting the offer?

If you're sure that you're doing A2 Further Maths, you should contact UCAS so that your application can be updated.

Be wary of telling them as they might include it on your offer - we had someone who did this and Imperial just asked him for another A to add to the A*AAA they already wanted.

You need to contact UCAS if you're certain you're doing it - you have to include all education details. You'll also need to be predicted a grade for it (presumably), though be aware that it could be included in your offer, which is something that will depend on each university.

Okay, so do you think that my best course of action is to sit exams, and only cash in modules for the qualifications I've declared, then cash AFM modules in later, once at Uni (assuming this is possible)?

I don't know unfortunately - it's probably worth either asking your teachers/referee (if self-studying all A levels), or just phoning UCAS during business hours.

Not sure whether this is really necessary. I'd ask your 6th form if there would be a problem with your just cashing it in as normal.

It is possible, but if you feel the need to go down this route then I'd cash the A level in after you've confirmed your place but before 20 September (which is the deadline for cashing-in). That way all the certificates will turn up together.
