So basically my right click button on my touchpad does not seem to be working. I've a Dell XPS 13, pretty old now, have had it two years.

Is there any way to, say, if I hold Ctrl while left-clicking on the touchpad, it turns into a right-click?

I'm not sure if relevant... but the right click bit of the touchpad does work per se, but it just assumes it's a left-click too.

    Cheers

Assuming you have the latest touchpad drivers installed, you can manually modify the touchpad gestures and settings, though this depends on the software supplied by the driver.

Most touchpads have a two finger press option, where pressing with two fingers will create a right click. You may have to enable it in your touchpads settings.
