the student prepared potassium chloride by neutralising 25cm3 of 2 mol dm-3 potassium hydroxide with 0.5 mold dm-3 hydrochloric acid

    KOH + HCl → KCl +H2O

    a) calculate the volume of HCl that the student used

    b) how could a solid sample of the KCl be obtained from the reaction mixture?

I helped you last week with a similar question - this one is easier. I asked you to complete a table and post it but you did not do so. You need to start doing some thinking - I would be horrified if my AS students could not do this sort of calculation. Draw out a similar table to the one I gave you and fill it in.
