Completely stuck with uni course watch

    • Thread Starter

Hi, I'm currently an IB student (Year 13) applying for uni. I originally set out to study French and Management but for months have been toying with the idea of French and History of Art - they're quite different I realise! I know its still only October but I'm running out of time to decide and apply. I've looked at both courses at all five uni's I'm planning on applying to but I'm completely torn between the two courses. I definitely want to continue French and I study Economics at higher level, alongside English and then visual art, maths and physics at standard level.

Ideally, I'd like to go into either journalism or marketing so both courses would provide me with the opportunity to do so. Management seems logical as I already have economics at higher level and its what I get my highest results in. Don't get me wrong I enjoy parts of it, but I'm really not comfortable with continuing maths on to a further/harder level.

History of Art wise, I've done plenty of reading, gallery visits, lectures etc.. but I neither take history nor am 100% how much you are supposed to e.g. understand before you begin - obviously you need to have an understanding of the periods of art etc...

Any opinions would be so greatly appreciated! Thank you x
