AS further maths FP1 complex numbers- loci help

Hello,

I'm practising some further maths questions and I've got stuck on the last few that involve loci with complex numbers. Please could someone explain how to approach these as I'm a bit confused.

Thanks :smile:

Have you covered loci yet? These are quite standard.

zα=r |z - \alpha| = r represents a circle radius r centre α \alpha

arg(zα)=θ arg (z - \alpha) = \theta represents a half-line of points starting at α \alpha which make an angle of θ \theta to a line parallel to the real axis.
