I was flicking through my OKcupid matches this morning, and I came across this OK-looking girl with pink hair. She had some of the nastiest things written down on her profile like: "I hate men", "I hate the patriarchy", "I'm genderqueer", "I'm a feminist, but don't contact me if you're a ****". How can you be a feminist and not only hate men, but use such misogynistic language. So I sent her a message because I was literally laughing my tits off. And all she said was "Its not sexist if I use it because I'm not in a position of power" Lololol!

Some people really need to stop confusing the word "feminism" with "misandry".

I don't think that's the case. Feminism is standing up for female rights. I wholeheartedly agree with that when there are moments of misogyny in this world and when women are denied the same rights as men just because of their gender.

However, I think forcing female rights on people and shoving them down people's throats is not the right thing to do.

How dare you? This poor woman is suffering from textbook oppression and a clear lack of the privilege that victimizes her and caters to the evil men around her. I mean sure, there are places where you will be literally executed for speaking your mind; there are places where there is no access to technology, or even sufficient food and drink, but don't let that confuse you. You don't get it and need to check your privilege.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. I'm ranting because of this toxic Western Feminism.

Feminism is dearly needed in the East and Russia.
