So just did my LNAT and thought it went pretty well until I realized I had totally misinterpreted the essay question I did. (It was asking basically about anonymity for people arrested for criminal offenses and I wrote about people being annoymous from their criminal convictions if that even makes any sense). I think I argued it well but how badly will the fact that I misinterpreted the question affect me?
I.e will the Uni's just look at how well I argued it out with the error or will I be seriously penalized for misreading the question?
(I'm applying the KCL and Nottingham)

I don't think you'll be penalised, esp. as it's not marked. But they'll still read the essay and probably still see how impressive it is. What you interpreted as the question should have been outlined in the intro bit so they should follow your essay. So, don't worry yourself too much, and it's usually the multiple choice the unis focus on - good luck!
