I was wondering if anybody could enlighten me on how and where specifically to find SHO positions in Dentistry/Oral Surgery/OMFS/Oral Medicine departments. I know that they are advertised on BDJ jobs, but is there anywhere else that they are advertised? As these positions, from my impression so far, seem to be quite scarce (although I understand that I may of course be looking at the wrong time of the year).

Any help would be unbelievably appreciated!

You are looking at the wrong time of year. Deanery sponsored posts are by national recruitment which will open on Oriel (the NHS recruitment portal) some time December/January. These require you to have completed DF1 by the time the job would start.

Otherwise it is NHS jobs or BDJ jobs. For those posts though they will be either non training posts or will be because someone has dropped out of the deanery scheme. Those *normally* require you to have prior experience in the job. There are several about at the moment.
