So I just got the D2 book and I am sure this is the biggest one of all of them. Haven't spent much time looking through it, but if anyone's done D2 before, how did you find it? And if you've done other modules, would you say this is the most boring?

My brother tells me the textbook is only large because it has so many diagrams in it. It apparently isn't that bad.

I'm self-teaching myself it though, so once I've finished D1 I'll have to go through whatever suffering you're going through as well

I'm actually in the same boat, haven't finished D1 yet. tbh the hardest/most annoying part about D1 is the fact that I have to draw diagrams and all of that stuff, otherwise it's really easy.

I finished writing notes for D1 in a about a week in the summer, but don't look back at them often and haven't done many questions. I've forgotten half of it already, so I don't think I should move on to D2 yet. Most of D1 is very easy though, and I've seen most of it before anyway. Don't you get some booklet in the exam for your answers that has the diagrams already drawn out for you, or something? So the exam itself won't be too bad, but revision will be.

My brother's doing D2 this year, so once I'm happy enough with D1 I'll try to quickly move through the early D2 work to catch up to him, at which point I can learn it nice and slowly
