    Hello,
Ive just completed my first term of AS-Levels (maths, physics, chemistry and biology) and atm it doesn't seem as though im doing great. My test results aren't the best, people say im doing fine but i, being quite pessimistic and self-depricating, am thinking the worst. I was wondering, what sort of grades are expected whilst you are just starting out? If it makes a difference, i am currently in the middle of doing SEN tests etc, so that may be why.
    Thank-You

It's quite often tricky at the start because you're not used to it, but don't worry, lots of people find that! Some teachers also try and shock you a bit to make sure you realise you have to work a bit...
So yeah this is quite normal, just work hard and you will be fine

    Please take my advice

    1. Read ALL of your notes during this half term, don't miss out anything, especially if you don't understand it!
    2. If you don't understand something, LOOK IT UP!! Use your textbooks and make additional notes
    3. Maths - Use your textbook and do ALL of the practice questions, use examsolutions to help you
    4. Repeat for all of your other subjects.

At the end of the week, TEST YOURSELF!!
This is not a holiday where you can do whatever, seriously. STUDY!!!
You will regret it, it is extremely hard to get a good grade at AS if you do last minute cramming, especially because you are doing MATHS, CHEMISTRY(one of the hardest subjects at a-level), BIOLOGY AND PHYSICS.

    Good luck
