    Hello,

I'm looking to study Law at uni, I got 3 A*s, 1 B and 7 As at GCSE and ABCD at AS. My predicted grades for A2 are ABB. Is it still worth applying to AAA/A*AB or AAB unis?

    Thanks, Dan

You could apply to one AAA university but be realistic with the others, and don't get your hopes too high for getting that offer

Law is a massively oversubscribed course and universities are not in the position of having to be kind to anyone. Do you have any reason to offer as to why they should take you over the hundreds of applicants with the right predicted grades? If you have, then take a chance on an AAB course. Otherwise, you are asking for rejections to apply where you don't reach the entrance requirements. Sorry to sound harsh, but there is not much leeway with a course as competitive as law.

Law universities (especially AAB ones) don't interview. OP try some AAB but none higher. Don't forget that even if you did get an offer from an AAA uni you will actually have to get the grades to go there so be realistic about whether you can achieve it! Try Looking at York or Southampton as compared to other RG Unis they're less oversubscribed. Best of luck x

Apply for one AAB uni, the majority should be ABB and one at BBB - this is the best way to ensure you get offers, particularly for such a popular course like law
