    I'm studying English language , history and philosophy and ethics . I would say around £300 is the price I'm looking for . Thanks for your help .

    Ok then thats a good price for what your looking for, im guessing all you want is a basic computer that can go on word and then go online to research stuff. on this pressumption you can pick almost anything out there and get what you want but I sugest going to www.novatech.co.uk they offer some very good deals and are specialists in the uk- they arent as big as someone like currys and dont overcharge (as much) as others. if you are looking for a specific make then many would do fine but for school work I would look to find a lenovo- they are relativley cheap depending on what one you are looking at, sturdy and are quite good little computers; heres one for an example http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/l...s/mch23uk.html. however dont rule out others that is simply there as with that you can then purchase microsfoft office with it for just over your budget about £20 extra: http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/s...79g-04369.html. that is if you wanted to buy office at all you may already have a copy.
