Okay so at GCSE I got 1A* 8As and a C, I have recently began my AS courses but I am struggling for various reasons, primarily depression and the heavy work load (8 weeks of missed work for Biology and Chemistry) is beginning to dawn on me creating more stress and arguably inducing more issues surrounding my various conditions. I am unsure about Gap years from GCSE to A level, but my concerns are that my year does a lesson of biology and chemistry a day as part of a 5 day week, so I will have missed around 80 hours of work in total. My issue is will this be liable for me to begin my AS levels next year, I dont want to stick at AS when clearly I am not ready for that stress, would a 1 year break be beneficial for a possible dental applicant?
8 weeks missed is alot, as many know they are strict about resit applicants, I am seriously in a bad situation...
