Watched it tonight, can't say I enjoyed it. Found the plot boring and some of it made no sense to me. I liked Skyfall better tbh.

It was brilliant. Fast-paced, great stunts and stayed true to the legacy of previous Bond films. Not quite as good as Skyfall but only marginally.

Welcome back, Bond. I love James Bond in general - and while Casino Royale, Goldeneye and Skyfall are my favourites - I really enjoyed Spectre. I wasn't a fan of Sam Smith's theme song, but the opening sequence was mind-blowing and really set the film's stall out for the next two hours. Daniel Craig has made the part his own, managing to escape the shadows of Connery and Moore while adding a steel and grit to the performance. Lea Seydoux was great, too, along with Ben Whishaw as Q - who is an inspired bit of casting. Christoph Waltz was under-utilised, I felt, but the twist was well constructed if a little obvious, and Max (played brilliantly by Andrew Scott) may be the best British bad guy in the entire series (beating Sean Bean!). A very good film, and one which marks a fitting end if it is to be Mendes/Craig's last.

    Seen it.

Typical 007. But has some boring parts to it. He does like 3 girls in it, not quite sure the Bond girls were spot on personally. I liked batista but deserved he should of been the main villain but his parts were good, some great action. Well worth a watch considering not much else on.

Pretty good, a bit of humour, enough action, interesting plot.

Friend went to watch it a few days back, says it's awful and there are many underutilised characters, major retconning ruining the previous films and very clunky exposition about Snowden. Gonna watch it anyway since it's Bond but a lot of these seem to be common criticisms :erm:

I guess overall it was good. Some sets masterfully done, but other parts let it down a bit unfortunately.
The performances are also extremely strong from reoccuring characters and the baddy.
If you're happy with Bond cheese, you will probably be happy with the film.

Yeah, was much scope to improve and some parts wasn't keen on at all. But honestly, just watch if only for the opening scene.

I didn't think it was that great actually. I was a really big fan of Casino Royale and Skyfall but thought Spectre was cheesy, had MASSIVE plot holes and was just a bit too ridiculous.

Just felt queasily self-indulgent. Opening scenes were fantastic though

I thought it was really enjoyable, not without it's flaws but I didn't at any point think it was being dragged out.
Shame Christopher Waltz was used so sparingly, he's such a presence.

Needs a re-watch but overall I was impressed.

Careful. Don't go even once to the toilet during the movie: you could miss Christoph Waltz's scene.

Oh wait I think he has two scenes.
