Has anyone ever been in a long-term relationship that was solely based on physical attraction? By long-term, let's assume the relationship lasted several years.
In my mind, I could never foresee such an establishment being successful. As the Hollywood film industry would have it, these relationships always end in arguments, divorce, cheating and all the rest of it!
Is this at all true or have I been too greatly influenced by the drama of movies?
Personally, I believe "personality is more important than looks," because physical attraction can surely only last so long. I'm not suggesting personality and beauty are mutually exclusive, but assuming they were, I would have a kind and sensible girlfriend, over a beautiful and shallow one.
Does everyone agree? Is there anyone who would much rather have someone beautiful and utterly in love with themselves?![]()
