Hi, this might help answer some of your questions and give you an overview of UEA in relation to university location etc.
Also, Psychology is one of the subjects that UEA performs well in (REF Government review of subject areas research quality)-UEA scored over 60%, 3 or 4 stars ranking for its research in psychology/psychiatry & neuroscience

Hello, great to (virtually) meet you!

Despite being a fairly new department our Psychology department is ranked in the Top 15 in the UK by the Guardian University Guide (2016). Within our department we have internationally renowned researchers sharing their new discoveries in psychological science with the wider world. They have helped us perform very well in the Research Excellence Framework (which Rosie mentioned above), where our research was judged to be of international quality - with over 80% rated as world leading or internationally excellent.

Have you seen our new video about life as a UEA student in the School of Psychology? It will answer some of your questions about the department and the lecturers:

Take a look at our video about Norwich too here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuiyHqxvK8A - to get a feel for the place you could be living and studying in. The city has the best of both worlds - it is a lively and attractive city, with a beautiful coastline and countryside just down the road. There's plenty to do from shopping in the Norwich Lanes to outdoor activities in nearby Thetford Forest and the North Norfolk coast.
