    I plan to apply in this University for a joint hons in business and psychology . I just wanted to know from people who does this degree, what the subject is like? the lecturers? etc. how is the city near the place? student life? Is the uni any good?

    Derby is currently ranked 59th in Britain, which means it is a mid-ranked University. I happen to live close to Derby, however, and I can tell you that I think Derby is a pretty good place to attend school: Low crime, decent downtown core.


    However, if you're more the 'Partying' type, Nottingham is just a bus or train ride away. That's where most of the partiers want to go.

    Derby is a good university, decently respected and well-worth attending in my opinion.
