Don't know if this is too late or not, but I'm assuming you haven't started yet. I did Early Childhood studies and Education back in 2012, the first year was amazing, some brilliant modules such as child development, play and early learning, and health and wellbeing, back then I had the benefit of having 3 day weekends as I had mondays off. Second year it steps up a lot, but I found it brilliant looking back as in a way it prepared me for my final year, and helped me become more organised.

In terms or hard or intense, that's subjective I would say, it depends on how much you are willing to put in, and those who put in, usually reap the rewards. Put it this way though, all my life I struggled in school, was in bottom sets, and although I never had anything lower than a C for GCSE, and had two C's and D at A level, I never really considered myself to be someone who was bright, but after finishing last year with a First Class honours, well that was something I never expected I could achieve, but when you put the effort in, you will most likely get rewarded.

The benefits of the course are that the lectures and staff are brilliant, and are willing to go the extra mile to support you.

Let me know if you decide to go here in September for this course. I really would recommend it if teaching and education is something you are interested in.
