    10cm^3 of a gaseous hydrocarbon reacts completely with 40cm^3 of oxygen to produce 30cm^3 of carbon dioxide.
    How many moles of CO2 formed from one mole of the hydrocarbon?
    I feel like the answer is really obvious but my mind has blanked help me plz.

    Equal volumes of gases at the same temp and pressure contain the same number of moles.
