    The vertical displacement y of the tip of a cantilever beam at a time t is approximated by the formula

    y=0.05 sin(6.5t)

    If y=0.04 m, find all possible values of t for the range 0≤t≤0.5 s.

    I got an answer of 0.143 but I'm not sure where to go from there, if the range was in degrees or radians I would be fine but the time has thrown me off

    I presume that radians is correct:

    In radians: the period of motion is (2pi)/6.5 which seems reasonable in the context.

    In degrees, the period of the motion is 360/6.5 which does not!
