I was just wondering which one of the universities below is the best based on how their course is laid out - very practical/hands on course ideally, collaborative etc.

I am studying Film Production at Portsmouth in September-
-The course is 80% practical and you are assessed by coursework- no written exams
-The facilities and equipment for film production are the best I've seen
-Lots of choice of modules (underwater filming in the 2nd year sounds great)
-The course has creative skillsset accreditation which is a plus
I also visited: UCA, Bournemouth, Middlesex, AUB, Southampton Solent, Sussex and Winchester for the same or similar course.
UCA and AUB both had good facilitates and good courses but neither felt like universities, both were more like colleges. Small, bad location for UCA (Farnham) and neither had good unions.
Southampton Solent: again, good facilities and the uni was generally quite nice too. However, it's really low down on the league tables and students don't go into great jobs afterwards.
Middlesex: Bad location, facilities were alright, general university wasn't so nice.
Winchester: Limited facilities, boring location, uni was really nice though.
Bournemouth was really good: great location, good course+ facilities. Only concern was high grade requirements (in comparison to other film production courses) ABB
