I'm applying for History 2016 entry with AAAAB at AS, predicted AAA. I'm not going for any unis looking for higher than my predicted grades, but one for lower as a safe choice.

    1. Birmingham AAA-AAB
    2. Manchester AAA-AAB
    3. Liverpool AAA-AAB
    4. Sheffield AAB
    5. Keele ABB

I'm worried that there isn't enough of a difference between my first four choices and Keele. I did look at Chester, for BBB-BBC, but I didn't like it nearly as much, especially in terms of the campus and transport around the city. Everyone seemed a lot more friendly at Keele, and I liked the campus and course.

My teachers all say I am on track to get my predicted grades, but I'm worried I haven't got enough room if something goes wrong, especially as I'm dyslexic. Thank you

I'd say stick with your five choices, and try your best to achieve the grades that your teachers predicted for you.

If things don't go as planned in your exams, there's still clearing for Chester etc.
