I am planning on applying for a master's degree to Copenhagen Business School for next year (starting in August-September 2016).
I have consulted CBS's website and 4 master’s programmes grabbed my attention the most. However, I cannot pick one because I like all of them. I was thinking that some of you could help me (by sharing opinions) and give memore information about those programmes (if you have already completed any of those masters).
My top 4 choices are (actually it is better to say concentrations as they are all part of MSc in Economics and Business Administration):
- Management of Innovation and Business Development
- Strategic Market Creation
- Finance and Strategic Management
- International Marketing and Management
I am also curious to understand how prestigious the MSc in Economics and Business Administration actually is in terms of international reputation when compared to similar master’s degrees from other top business schools in Europe and in the world?
How prestigious are those 4 concentrations in particular and which one(s) is/are the most prestigious one(s) and well-regarded by employers after graduation? Has anyone completed any of those graduate programmes at CBS?
Probably the only one that I can exclude from the list at this stage is the last one above, as I did my bachelor’s degree in International Management, so now I want to pursue a master’s in a particular area (and specialise). However, I am also very interested in the CEMS programme for the second year. Has anyone of you heard about it?
Just to give you a piece of additional information, my favourite fields of study/work (on which I am basing my top choices) are:
- Strategic/Management Consulting - I like strategy and strategic management, but I don’t really enjoy finance
-Business Development and Marketing – here what I like the most is working on the creation/development of new products(especially related to technology – smartphones, tablets, etc.) and launching them onto the market. But also developing the activity (growth strategies, etc.) of a small company/start-up.
Thank you in advance for your help.
