I'm looking to apply for an English Lit degree and I know creative writing is supposed to be good there but I as wondering what kind of reputation it had in general.

For example: do employers think its good? What universities is it similar to?

Any opinions will be greatly appreciated

It's ranked 16th on the complete university guide I think which is obviously pretty high! Look on unistats all the stats are pretty high. I am applying there and visited at the weekend and it's a really nice place in a really nice city. It's probably one of the best unis that isn't russell group

Contrary to popular opinion on TSR, most employers don't care which university you went to.

UEA is highly respected, especially for creative writing. If you want to see how it compares with others, try The Complete University Guide
but don't take it too literally. It really does depend on which stats you look at and an assumption that those stats have been collected in a consistent way.
