My brother's currently studying medicine, a degree I've been considering for a while now. He was always good academically (11 A*s at GCSE) but at the end of his A levels had a bit of a break down, overwhelmed by stress, and so didn't do as well as he could've. (A*A*A)

In University, he's not coping too well. He never goes out, isn't doing so well and seems really stressed all the time, like he's regretting his choice. I guess he was never crazily committed to the idea - before he was always solely focused on exams and academics, but as he was quite a diligent student - study was his whole life- this kinda freaked me out.. :/

Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
