Is there any specific module you found difficult or is it the entire course. I had problems in the first month on group theory. Just couldnt understand the concept properly for some reason. I would think about it literally everywhere and then all of a sudden it clicked. I would say stick with it just work harder i was told by alot of second year that the start seems overwhelming but after a while you seem to fit in with the pace.

    Maths is tough.

Adjusting can be quite hard. Look through lecture notes, write out definitions and theorems and examples. Do problem sheets and look over the feedback you can get.

Think back to why you wanted to study Maths and what you want to do after, as well as the options in later years that will interest you.

If you can't do the above things then it is worth looking at other degrees, but think about it and don't rush into it.
