Hi, Im currently writing my personal statement for pharmacy and I feel like it is very rushed and not in a high standard. I know how competitive this course is so I was wondering if anyone is able to help me with this as Im applying to top universities with not the best AS grades (BBCC). I also had some hospital work experience which I don't know how to relate to pharmacy and I might apply to one Optometry course so I want to talk about that too.
Anyway I will really appreciate if anyone experienced can have a look, thanks.

optometry and pharmacy are at opposite ends of the spectrum so you need to focus on one. If you dont mind me asking, which uni's are you applying to

you should also take into account your predictions as well. you may want to consider 'slightly lower' choices to. Keep one aspirational (ucl OR kings) since they most likely want AAA. the rest should be around your predictions or slightly lower for an insurance choice.

My prediction is AAB and this is what Kings/UCL wants but yeah I don't have a solid choice which is a problem but which other uni in London actually does Mpharm?

Kingston offer the MPharm degree, but both Kings and UCL are clearly much more prestigious universities.

Edit: Dedicate your personal statement to one or the other - do NOT try and combine both Optometry and Pharmacy into the same personal statement as it will show a lack of commitment to each subject and that you're unsure of what you want to study.

Queen mary? I know Reading does (slightly outside of london. Try looking on the UCAS course search. In honestly apart from UCL, Kings, Queen mary, Imperial and maybe City university (for some courses) these are your top notch unis but the rest in london don't seem that great and aren't looked upon highly. Unless theres a genuine reason such as health, costs, parents not wanting you to move too far away or cultural/religious reasons, I'd strongly advise to look at some outside of london

Queen Mary doesn't do Pharmacy and no there isnt really a proper reason as you why I want to stay in London, it just seems like everything will be so much easier when im closer to home and also im worried that if I dont like the place im staying in/ not making good friends, I wont have a choice to come back. I can consider staying in campus for the first year but yh I don't know about outside London.
