Pregnancy Dreams?

In the past week I've had 2 dreams where I was pregnant, and they have both been negative.

In the first I was heavily pregnant and in a hospital where there was no proper maternity ward so no one was a midwife and no one knew what was going on and I was generally scared.

In the second, I found out I was pregnant using a pregnancy test but my bf was away on a trip for his course and I didn't want to tell him until he got back. I was scared, how could I be so stupid, etc, and I seemed to think dream no. 1 was real so was thinking, how could I let this happen twice?

I continued texting and calling him as normal and he seemed fined, texted and talked back but...

When he came back I went to see him in the uni pub but he was there with a girl who he'd gotten close to on his trip, they were holding hands and stuff and I just wanted to murder her, and when I told him I was pregnant he didn't care and I was crying and trying to get him to love me again but he just smiled at me and said he wasn't in love with me anymore.

For some odd reason he'd left me for a short chubby girl called Catherine, who is entirely fictional.

What is up with these dreams!?

Are you stressed?

When a person is stressed the imagination plays stressful images, such as the terrible fear of your boyfriend leaving you for another woman while you are pregnant.

Secondly, Midwives and pregnancy have been in the media now for the last month, including radio, television, and newspapers, therefore it is not that inconsiderable that it is on your mind.

These are quite common anxiety dreams, but they also may be connected to something that may be entirely unrelated to pregnancy or childbirth. I repeatedly dreamed that I was pregnant in the immediate run-up to my GCSEs, when I was having to, well, hatch a lot of plans for the future. However, your dreams could also reflect anxieties about your relationship with your boyfriend, but you have to remember that worrying though they may be, they're just dreams after all.

Over the past few months I have had dreams that I was pregnant too. (Me being a teenager) I was just couldn't believe I was pregnant even though I despise teenage pregnancies, and another dream I was pregnant but didn't know it, until I looked down and saw the baby bump.

I don't know why I had these weird dreams...I don't know why you have had weird dreams too. But one thing that has happened to me alot is that parts of my dreams come true. It's hard to believe but they do. The meanings of dreams are hard to interprete, but it's worth it I think. Just becareful with your relationship is all I can say...

I remember my mother once had a dream where she gave birth to a giant maggot. Maybe its hormone related or you're just stressed.

I wouldn't worry too much. Like everyone says, they're probs just random anxieties. I've had dreams like that on a couple of occasions. Even woken convinced that I was pregnant. Seeing as i was 11 at the time it was all rather scary.

Pregnancy dreams are supposed to signify the end of a period in your life and death is supposed to signify the start of something.

I had a pregnancy dream last night. As I'm nearly 21 I'm starting to worry that its some previously unbeknown bio clock ticking away... :'(

The thing is in the dream I wanted to be pregnant and I wanted a baby, but in real life I don't ever want my own children, and plan to adopt instead. My parents dragged me to the abortion clinic and I refused to go through with it.

Spooky stuff!
