Cristina - By Robert Browning: Has anyone got resources on this poem? watch

    • Thread Starter

I'm currently studying AS English Language and Literature (7706, 7707) under the AQA scheme. I've chosen to study Robert Browning for the poetry section and am trying to get some information on the poems that we haven't covered yet. One poem in particular is posing an issue, called 'Cristina.' I've been searching online for any sort of background/analysis on the text and have come up short. My tutor has also looked through quite a few books on Browning and says she can find very little on it. If anyone could provide any information on the text it would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance for responses!

We are also studying this set of poems. I have found this

It is supposed to be the Maria Cristina of Naples fourth wife of King Ferdinand VII

If you find anything else, please let me know
