So my coursework question is 'Within the context of the period 1865-1980, to what extent was Martin Luther King the most influential civil rights activist for African-Americans?'
I'm trying to make a rough plan for it as I need to hand in the first 1000 words in a few days, but I just don't who to focus on in each paragraph. I'm going to start the first one with King, his influences, what he achieved etc.
There's just so many different figures regarding civil rights so I don't know who to focus on in each paragraph or how to make them flow.
Also, if anyone has any advice on how to write a good introduction for coursework, that would be great as well.

    Thanks.
