Hi and thanks in advance for any help

I have been working on my thesis, and it was saving fine up to today at least. When I just tried to open it, it comes up with a pop up saying 'we're sorry. We can't open the document because we found a problem with its contents'

The details say: Operation aborted: max-element-depth constraint violated

    Location: Part: /word/sebSettings.xml, Line: 2, Column: 50685

It gives me the option to recover it, which seems to work and I think it's got all my previous work, but when I save it, close it and open it again, the same problem appears. How can I stop this from happening?

Copy the text /anything else in the document and paste it into a new document, then save and try and open the new document.
