Hi im from Edinburgh and interested in applying for undergraduate economics for 2016 entry. I was just wondering if there are any other Scottish students who are studying this subject or any other subject at Newcastle who could post what all their exam results were and what the conditions were that they were made?-Thanks

    Hey Chris

For Scottish applicants the entry requirements for Economics BSc are

AAABB at Higher Grade. Mathematics and English required at grade 2 Standard Grade (or Intermediate 2 equivalent) if not offered at Higher Grade. Combinations of Highers and Advanced Highers accepted. Where a candidate bypasses the assessment for National 5 qualifications, a minimum of grade B in the Higher in Maths and grade C in the Higher English is required
That would also be the typical offer. If you've already taken some Higher Level exams they would take those into account. For example, if you've already achieved BB they would only ask for AAA for your upcoming exams.

    Hope that's useful :gthumb:
