How to mention skills you've gained?

So i'm writing my ps and I've mentioned my EPQ (it relates heavily to my degree- biochemistry).

Not quite sure how to word my question so bear with me:

I've mentioned skills I've gained from it such as research, analysis etc. I have read about how EPQ is good for developing "interdisciplinary skills". My question is should i actually write that the project helped me to improve my interdisciplinary skills, or just mention specific skills i gained?

Basically, in general, should you just imply skills you have gained when writing your P.S, or specifically state them so they know you are aware of what you're writing.

(Hope this makes sense)

The admissions tutors will know the skills that you can gain from the EPQ so focus on why it was interesting :smile:
