Has anyone of you achieved a grade of DDE in any of your science AS levels?

    Because I have,
I am really upset as I'm gonna be carrying them in the end at applying university

It really holds me back because the universities I'm trying to apply at the moment want grades AAB ABB

I feel like hopeless by the way I do biology chemistry and maths. And planning to do pharmacy

    Can someone give advice please

I'll be honest there isn't really much point in applying for pharmacy this year with those grades-it's competitive enough as it is.

Does it have to be Pharmacy? Maybe now's a good time to consider other paths you'd like to go down? Also you should think about why you got those grades- Was it just a series of bad exams or do you feel that that's as good as it could have gotten?

I got the exact same as you ( but in History, Art, and Physics respectively). I'm not applying for an extremely competitive course and I have prior experience in the subject I want to do and I'm applying for deferred entry so I can take Access to HE modules ( recommended by unis when i asked them what to do about my low Predicted grades-CCD ).

I think maybe you should email the universities and ask them for advice on whether or not you can progress onto that path, have you thought about resits and things like that? Like I said before be honest about WHY you got those grades, if you think you can resit and achieve way better grades in the next couple of years then just apply when you're ready, you'll stand a better chance of receiving an offer with grades that are acceptable for pharmacy

( btw if any of this seemed harsh then i'm sorry! It's just that I know exactly how limited you can feel with DDE grades as AS, one of the crucial things for me was being realistic about where I can go with these..)

    Hope I helped a bit!
