Hi everyone, I'm having a bit of a panic here. I am currently in my second year at the University Of Sunderland studying English major with minor journalism and I really want to change both course and university. I want to change to northumbria university to take a business related subject as I have now realised what I want to do with my life. I don't have the 300 UCAS points to get an unconditional place at the university (I have 240 ) however I was wondering if my years of study would work in my favour? what do you guys think would be the best way to try and go about changing courses and university? or a way of making up those needed UCAS points?
thanks in advanced.

You don't have enough Student Finance entitlement left to fund a new degree from scratch. As you have started your second year, you now only have two years of funding left. You would have to fund the first year of a new degree - including the tuition fees - yourself. Your funding would start again for the second and third years.
